Disneyland Paris Hotel

Pros

  • It's beautifully themed, in all it's fairytale Victorian whimsy glory!
  • It smells incredible too – in fact, it even has it's own signature fragrance that you can purchase in the gift shop! And what an awesome gift shop it is too...
  • It's literally IN the main Disneyland Park; you cannot stay any closer to the magic!
Cons
  • It is HUGELY overpriced. I think this is perhaps the biggest con of all. Really think about if you can justify the expense to stay here, and if you can – then go for it! But don't get yourself into debt over it.
  • The theming is magical – but not timeless. Young adults may find the decor a little "stuffy" as it is based on Victorian patterns.
  • The restaurants and bars in this hotel are also expensive, so if dining in your hotel is something you want to be able to comfortably afford after a long day in the parks, remember that you will pay a premium for this.

Disney's Hotel New York

Pros

  • It's super close to Disney Village, in fact, it's basically in the village! A short 5 minute walk to the Disney parks' gates.
  • The modern theming will be loved by families and adults a like – this is a popular choice for corporate stays.
  • A slightly more affordable option in comparison to the main Disneyland Hotel, but every bit as luxurious.
Cons

  • This might be a pro or a con, depending on your preference, but the hotel has recently been renovated and will be opening as a Marvel themed hotel. Something to bear in mind.
  • Despite being cheaper than the main Disneyland Paris Hotel, it is still a very expensive option, especially for large families.
  • The modern, contemporary vibe isn't super "magical", and may be lost on families with young children.

Disney's Newport Bay Club

Pros

  • The most affordable of the three main "luxury" hotels at Disneyland Paris.
  • Awesome nautical theming that will delight adults and families a like! The swimming pool even includes a miniature ship! Really cool.
  • Very close to Disney Village, and about a 10 min walk to the main entrance of the Disney parks.
Cons

  • Whilst Newport Bay is the most affordable luxury option, it is still an expensive hotel.
  • It's very large, in fact, it's the biggest of the Disneyland Paris hotels which means that your room could be in a totally different part of the hotel from the main restaurant and lobby. You can request a more central room, for a premium.
  • Both restaurants at this hotel specialise in fish dishes, which may not be everybody's cup of tea! Bear this in mind if you're hoping to dine at the hotel.
Disney's Sequoia Lodge

Pros

  • The theming of this hotel is very cosy – you'll feel like you're in an awesome log cabin in the heart of Yosemite, California!
  • The pool is awesome! Kids will most certainly be entertained.
  • This is the cheapest of the Disneyland Paris hotels that surround Lake Disney. You'll be only about a 10 min walk from the main entrance of the Disney parks.
Cons

  • Again, this is a large hotel and you might be staying a little bit away from the main restaurant and main hotel lobby.
  • Less luxurious than Newport Bay, New York and Disneyland Hotels.
  • There are Bambi nods in your newly renovated room, but the Disney hints at this resort are subtle. May be a pro for adults, but kids might want a little more "magic".
Disney's Hotel Cheyenne

Pros

  • This is an affordable option in comparison to some of the other Disney resort hotels.
  • The rooms at Cheyenne have been recently renovated, with a cowboy Toy Story-esque theme.
  • Kids will love the western theme at this hotel.
Cons

  • This hotel is noticeably less luxurious than some of the other Disney hotels.
  • The rooms host one double bed and bunk beds which may not be suitable for some groups of people.
  • The hotel is a 15-20 min walk from the main entrance of the Disney parks, which might be a little too far for some families. All Disney hotels do offer a free shuttle bus.
Disney's Hotel Santa Fe

Pros

  • The most affordable option in comparison to all of the other Disneyland Paris hotels.
  • Cars theming will be popular with fans of the movie.
  • Rooms have two double beds which is preferable for some when compared to Cheyenne's double bed option.
Cons

  • Whilst this is the cheapest Disneyland Paris hotel, it is still an expensive option in comparison to staying off site, and also when you remember that this is a 2 star hotel.
  • The hotel needs a major facelift. Quite rundown and doesn't feel luxurious at all.
  • This hotel is very large, so depending on where your room is, you could be a 20-25 min walk from the main Disneyland Paris parks. There are shuttle buses available from all of the Disneyland Paris hotels.
– I really hope that this list is helpful to you when planning your next Disneyland Paris vacation!
