Shanghai Disney Resort: Garden of The 12 Friends
Hey everybody,
I hope you've all been enjoying the fab weather this past weekend; the sunshine has got me super excited about my upcoming trip to China, even if it is several months away!
One element of Shanghai Disney Resort that I have been really curious about is an area which features 'Disney-fied' versions of the Chinese Zodiac. This is of course more commonly known as, the Garden of The Twelve Friends.
Not only will the Garden of The Twelve Friends be one of the beautiful walk through areas included in the Gardens of Imagination, but fans will also be able to buy lots of merchandise, unique to Shanghai Disney Resort, featuring these reimagined characters adapted to fit the aesthetics of Chinese culture.

Featuring favourites such as Pluto, Tigger and Thumper alongside lesser known characters such as Allan-A-Dale from Disney's Robin Hood, The Jolly Holiday Lambs from Disney's Mary Poppins and Babe The Blue Ox from Disney's animated short, Paul Bunyan, the twelve characters selected (well fourteen if you count the lambs!) represent the Chinese Zodiac animals in visually stunning mosaics and art installations across the park.
